My oldest will be 9 at the end of the month. I have always made the invitations to her parties myself. In the past we have always had her parties at my parents house and the invitations went with the theme of the party. This year we are venturing out and having it at a local bowling, laser tag, arcade place. I hope we haven’t lost our minds. Here are samples of the outside of the invitations. I will make 3 of each kind.
I am so sorry guys. I promise I have not been ignoring you. The last several days when I have gone to write my post I haven’t been able to get into the site to write. It could very possible be a user error. Unfortunately, it seems to happen right during that brief window of time before taking my children to school.
Tonight my family is going to a picnic at the girl’s school. They are celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their O.L.E. (Outdoor Learning Environment). There will be tours of the O.L.E., the Drum Club will perform, and there will be an unveiling of the new brick path way. The path way is made up of dedication bricks. Everything has been planned by the 5th grade class. What a wonderful thing. Not only is it a chance for the families to spend time together. It is also a great way for the 5th graders to show just how much a child can do on their own with the support, encouragement, and belief of others.
I plan to get many great pictures so I can make sure to make our own memorandum.
